These remarkable sturdy locks adorn sacred temples throughout India and Nepal. Each features a carving of a Hindu deity and comes with two keys fashioned like dorjes or "diamond-truth cutters" which are unique to that lock only. Made of bronze patina and iron. Size: 4 3/8” h by 2 3/8” w, 1” depth

Saraswati is regarded as a goddess of knowledge, music and the arts. She is represented in Hindu mythology as the divine consort of Lord Brahma, the Creator of the universe. Seated on a lotus, she plays a lute with two of her four arms while attended by a peacock gazing up at her.
